My Study of PhD in International Relations and Global Development

I am currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations and Global Development at The Euler-Franeker Memorial University (EULER), where my research focuses on the intersections of global governance, economic inequality, and sustainable development. My academic journey explores the ways in which international institutions like the UN, World Bank, IMF, and WTO and global policies shape developmental outcomes across the Global South. I am particularly interested in understanding how global power dynamics influence the ability of nations to achieve long-term social, economic, and environmental goals. Drawing from interdisciplinary perspectives, my work also examines the role of non-state actors, such as NGOs and multinational corporations, in shaping global development narratives. Ultimately, my research aims to contribute to the formulation of more inclusive and effective global policies that promote equitable development worldwide.

I would like to focus my thesis on:

The Role of Multilateral Organizations in Global Development

  • Analyzing the effectiveness of international institutions like the UN, World Bank, IMF, and WTO in driving development agendas and addressing global inequalities.
  • Investigating the challenges and opportunities of reforming multilateral governance to achieve more inclusive global development outcomes.
